We are a couple of mates who have all spent most of our working lives working in hospitality all around the globe but have been particularly influenced by restaurants & bars in Melbourne and London.

MEET MARK

Our head chef Mark Archer has been whipping up some culinary magic in the kitchen since joining us in December 2022.

His impressive resume boasts stints at some of Sydney’s most renowned restaurants, including Becassè, Tomislav, and Fix Wine Bar.

Mark's cooking philosophy…

“I generally love to cook what I love to eat if I’m honest. Good honest food executed with care and respect. Each ingredient should be treated with the same care regardless if it’s a peach or a lobster, appreciation for the ingredient and its story is what I try to teach people. Somebody’s time and care has gone into growing farming or sourcing a product not for us to just not respect that journey.”

MODERN AUSTRALIAN DINING

For us Modern-Australian means mixing European kitchen technique, mediterranean hospitality, with the types of bold flavours you might expect from Pan-Asian cuisine, all served it in a typically casual aussie, family-dining setting.

Our sharp wine list features Australian bottles focusing on many smaller producers. We write our menu and select different wines every day so there should always be something new to try.
